The Texas native graduated from Austin College then pursued her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Meanwhile, she completed original research in sleep apnea, which was published in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Hennessee moved to Seguin in 2005 and opened Guadalupe ENT. She has since remained active in the community and at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center, serving on staff and elected chief of staff in 2010.
Dr. Hennessee holds professional privileges at Gonzales Memorial Hospital, Sievers Medical Clinic, and Cuero Community Hospital; serves on the Board of the Guadalupe Healthcare Network, and is the Chairperson of the Performance Improvement Committee at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center.
